Day 1 arrival Tbilisi
Today you’ll have Tbilisi sightseeing tour. During the tour we take you to the places that will show you old city. The city offers a great variety of sights, most of them very ancient.  All the places of interest in the Old Town are very close to each other, within a few minutes’ walk. We start our visit to Old Tbilisi from Metekhi Church (13th century), and then walk to the Synagogue, Sioni Cathedral (6th-7th centuries) and Anchiskhati Church (6th century). Then we drive up to Mother Georgia statue and walk down to Narikala Fortress (4th century) and Sulphur Baths, en route enjoying views of the Old Town. Overnight at a hotel in Tbilisi.
Day 2 Tbilisi-Sighnaghi-Kvareli-Gremi-Telavi
Today we travel in Kakheti region famous for being wine making area, as well as associated with welcoming hospitality.  Here we can see both snowy Caucasus Mountains and fertile valleys. Firstly we visit 18th century beautiful, small town of Sighnaghi which will impress us with its old fence and small houses with tile roofs and decorated balconies. From here we can see the picturesque views of Alazani valley and Great Caucasus Mountains. For lunch we will visit the local family, where we become familiar with the local peasants life and then we have lunch with delicious homemade food, wine and Georgian Chacha. Afterwards visit Gremi Architectural Complex. Later drive towards Telavi. We will visit the Georgian traditional wine cellar In the village. The host has a special love for wine, which is reflected in the quality of the wine produced by him. Here we will taste the most distinctive, natural wine "Zhghia" which is made from the rarest and highest quality Kakhetian grapes(only 6000 bottle in a year). The wine is made in Kvevri (the Clay Jar). This method of wine making is inscribed in UNESCO intangible heritage list. It should be noted that this wine has already cleared its way to the European market. Dinner and overnight in Telavi.

Day 3 Telavi-Gombori pass-Mtskheta-Gudauri
In the morning visit local farmer`s market in Telavi. . This is a place where we become an integral part of local daily life. Here you will find Georgian spices, fruits, vegetables, cheese and other natural products.
Afterwards we drive via Gombori pass with beautiful landscapes to visit ancient capital and religious center of Georgia – Mtskheta and see its historical places: Jvari Monastery (6th century) and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century) where the Robe of Christ is buried. Both Jvari and Svetitskhoveli are UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Then we drive along the Georgian military highway and on the way visit Ananuri architectural complex (17th century). The carvings on the churches are one of the best samples of the Georgian art. The drive is very scenic through high Caucasus Mountains. Arrive to Gudauri ski resort. Dinner and overnight at a hotel in Gudauri.
Day 4 Gudauri-Stepantsminda-Gergeti Church-Stepantsminda-Gudauri
A stunning drive from Gudauri along the Tergi River will bring us to Stepantsminda (Kazbegi) – the main town in the region. From there we walk up for 2.5 hrs through beautiful valleys and woodland leads us to Gergeti Trinity Church located at 2170 m. Weather permitting you may catch a glimpse of one of the highest glaciers in the Caucasus – Mt. Kazbegi (5047 m). Return to Gudauri ski resort. Dinner and overnight at a hotel in Gudauri ski resort.
Day 5 Gudauri-Gori-Uplistsikhe-Akhaltsikhe
In the morning we will visit the town of Gori and its historical places: Uplistsikhe Cave Town (1st millennium BC), It was here, where in ancient times caravans from faraway lands would gather. At present in the city there are well preserved ancient and antique halls and caves form thousands of years ago, as well as an ancient theatre, pharmacy and wine cellar, among many other things. Afterwards we will visit at the Stalin museum in Gori, where you’ll also be able to see the house in which he was born. Then we drive towards South-Western part of Georgia. Arrive in Akhaltsikhe. Overnight at a hotel.

Day 6 Akhaltsikhe-Vardzia-Akhaltsikhe
Today we drive to visit Vardzia – the magnificent cave town of the Golden Age. The cave complex stretching over half a kilometre once consisted of some 3000 caves and was one of the best examples of Georgia’s renaissance. It’s got a church hewn out in rock with amazing 12th century frescos. The complex also includes dwellings quarters, small hall-type churches, refectories, wine cellars, etc. On the way to Vardzia we will make a photo-stop at Khertvisi fortress (10th century)., the antiquity of this fortress is confirmed by historical sources from the period of Alexander the Great. Than we continue on our way to Akhaltsikhe. Here, Western and Eastern cultures blend harmoniously with each other. A clear example of this is the Rabat Castle. We are visiting the castle. The fortress erected on the hill, in the central part of the city, revives the history of medieval Georgia. It is distinguished by its greatness and diversity. This complex, along with the fortress, includes Buildings necessary for religious and cultural life, such as: a mosque, a madrasa and a hammam. There is also a museum of local lore here, which gives us a clear idea of the cultural development of the region. Overnight at a hotel.

In the morning drive to Tbilisi and free time.
